Beverly Lynn Kelly
Beverley Lynn Kelly is a Calgary-based artist, who attended university in Saskatoon, Calgary, and Auckland, New Zealand. She completed a practicum in Prague, Czech Republic teaching junior and senior high art and drama. She has received several scholarships in Art and Art Education, and has studied art and art history as a Rotary International Ambassadorial scholar in Auckland, New Zealand. Bev is currently a member of the Airdrie Regional Arts Society and the Federation of Canadian Artists. Bev prefers to work in acrylic for its immediacy and clean elements and bold, flowing lines. The inspiration for her work comes from family, friends and other artists, her travel and study of Art and Art History in Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and various parts of Europe. In her experience, art has been a wonderful outlet to manage her chronic joint pain. Bev is a passionate advocate for art therapy.
